Congratulations on your Personalized Art Print! This page is here to answer any questions you might have about the session.
A few days before the session, we would like to connect with you to through the phone to do a quick check in. This is so that we can create a connection and discuss where we will meet (in case of an in-person session), as well as some useful details before the session. You will be called by either Flo or Jules on the phone number we got from you when the Art Print session was booked. All the details are listed below so you can review them whenever you have a moment. You can always call us back or use the contact information on the contact sheet below if you still have questions or doubts!
If you want to read more about the product ‘Personalized Art Print’, you can read about it through this link: Personalized Art Print.
Practicalities for the online session:
The Zoom link
We will provide you with the link to our Zoom meeting one day prior to the session, so please keep an eye on your inbox (and the spam folder if you haven’t received the link yet).
Duration
The session will be no more than one hour, where we will dive into your journey together. We’ll start the Zoom meeting five minutes early so we have time to settle in and have a smooth session opening.
How to prepare?
Our session does not require a lot of preparation. The most crucial preparations for our session are to take a deep breath before we begin, have a fully charged computer, and have a (stable) internet connection. We set the intention to let go of control and allow life to show what wants to be seen throughout our session because we don’t expect to fix anything. Bring a cup of tea or coffee (or anything you prefer), relax and enjoy the creative process we’re going to dive into together.
Progress overview
WEEK 1 – MAIN SESSION; Learn about your journey + first artwork creation
WEEK 2 – CREATING THE ARTWORK; Flo & Jules focus on the further creation + unfolding of the illustration and poem (this process will not be shared with you, since you will see the art work for the first time at the hand-over session). In this week we will arrange a date for the hand-over session through e-mail (this session will be in person).
WEEK 3 – FINALISING; Flo & Jules will finalise the illustration and poem, and will transform it to an art print with their publisher.
WEEK 4 – HAND-OVER SESSION; At this session you will receive the original artwork in a handmade folder, the art print and a signed book. In this session, we will take some time to reflect on the process and final work.
Practicalities for the in-person session:
The location
You will receive a call from one of us a few days prior to the session. During this call, we’ll ask you about your preferred location. If we decided to meet at our location, we will meet you at Westendorperheideweg 18, Emst. This can be reached by car and is located halfway between Apeldoorn and Zwolle. Buses are also available, but it takes a 30-minute walk to get you there. It is a stunning location in the heart of the woods, and we highly recommend biking or taking a walk there before and/or after the session.
Duration
The session will be no more than one hour, where we will dive into your journey together. We ask you kindly to arrive 10 minutes earlier, so you can get settled with a cup of tea and take a breath before starting the session.
